Hi there,
Could anybody could help me?
Details Zebra does not provide a driver for use on Linux/Unix or Mac OS X operating systems but instead suggests the use of the Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) driver. The CUPS drivers with Zebra printer support are included in some Linux distributions and Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and above. I spent a while with Apple Support, Something this morning (10/23/20) broke the HP printing drivers framework on Catalina OS 10.15.7. They have received many calls with different items related to HP informing it will damage your computer, My printer does not print. I have a Laserjet 4200 with.
I'm running 10.9.5 (Mavericks) and I have a Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 photocopier/printer. I downloaded these three files:
Foomatic 4.0.6
Ghostscript 8.7.1

All from here: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/pxlmon o
I installed the first two and saved all the files including the driver in a folder within applications. I plugged in the printer via usb (I figured I'd make the networking work later) and found the printer easily. I selected the above ppd driver from the folder I'd saved it to. It let me customise some features - extra paper trays/finishers etc. So good so far.

When I tried to print a test page, it just gets stuck sending the data. I can see the test print in the print queue. It says 'Printing - sending data to printer.' And that's as far as I get.
Can anyone give me some pointers please??
